Rise and Shine: The Start of a Busy Day

As the sun peeks over the horizon in Cambridge, MD, I’m already up and preparing for another action-packed day at C. Albert Matthews. As a service technician specializing in heating, cooling, plumbing, and electrical systems, no two days are ever the same.

Morning Routine: Gearing Up

6:30 AM: After a quick breakfast, I head to our office to check the day’s schedule. Today, I’m covering calls in Easton and Trappe.

7:00 AM: I load up the service van with tools and parts, ensuring I’m ready for any HVAC or plumbing challenge that comes my way.

On the Road: Serving Our Community

8:00 AM: My first stop is in Easton, where a homeowner is experiencing issues with their air conditioning. After a thorough inspection, I discover a faulty capacitor. Within an hour, the AC is humming smoothly again, and the grateful customer is enjoying cool air.

10:30 AM: I head to Trappe for a routine maintenance check on a heating system. Preventative care is crucial, especially as we approach the colder months.

Midday: Emergency Call

1:00 PM: Just as I’m finishing lunch, I receive an urgent call from Algonquin. A family’s water heater has sprung a leak. I quickly reroute and arrive to assess the situation.

3:30 PM: After successfully installing a new water heater, I’m back on the road, feeling satisfied that I’ve helped another family restore comfort to their home.

Wrapping Up: Back to Base

5:00 PM: I return to the C. Albert Matthews office in Cambridge to restock supplies and file my service reports.

6:00 PM: As I head home, I reflect on the day’s accomplishments. From Centreville to Denton, our team at C. Albert Matthews is committed to keeping Eastern Shore homes comfortable and efficient.
