As the sun rises over Kansas City, my day at ATS Mechanical begins with a fresh cup of coffee and a review of the day’s service calls. It’s mid-season, which means we’re handling both heating and cooling needs for our community.
7:00 AM – The morning starts with checking my service schedule and loading up the van with essential parts and tools. Today’s lineup includes both AC service calls and a furnace inspection.
9:00 AM – First stop: helping a family whose air conditioning decided to quit during a warm spell. There’s nothing more satisfying than seeing the relief on homeowners’ faces when their comfort is restored.
Afternoon Excellence
12:30 PM – Lunch break is quick today. The afternoon is packed with:
• Preventive maintenance on a heating system
• diagnostics on an underperforming AC unit
• Consulting with a client about energy-efficient options
3:00 PM – One of the most rewarding parts of working at ATS Mechanical is educating homeowners about their HVAC systems. Today, I helped a client understand how regular maintenance can prevent costly repairs down the line.
Evening Wrap-Up
5:30 PM – As the day winds down, I ensure all paperwork is complete and the van is restocked for tomorrow. Being prepared means we can respond quickly when our community needs us.
